The Indian skipper, Virat Kohli was a happy man after he added a golden chapter in cricket’s history by pulling off a terrific 151-victory against England at the Mecca of Cricket. With this victory, India has taken a lead of 1-0 in the ongoing 5-match Test series.

Though, as the final day started, India looked vulnerable after having lost two wickets in the morning session, reducing to 209/8, however, what fans witnessed was nothing less than magic. Shami and Bumrah formed a brilliant partnership of 89 runs and gave their career-best performance to pull India back into the game.

After giving some stunning performances with the bats, the duo returned back again to give India early breakthroughs, when England walked out to bat. The Indian bowlers dominated England throughout the day and at the end of the day, it was the Indian cricket team that got to celebrate.

The Indian skipper was absolutely elated with how his team performed and that was totally visible on his face during the game. Virat Kohli, who was seen in a red-hot form on day 5, kept on motivating his teammates regularly. Before England’s 2nd innings, Virat urged his players to focus fully on the task at hand.

Virat gathered his troops for a small pep-talk. As the Indian side formed into a team huddle before the start of innings, Virat Kohli was apparently seen saying:

“if I see someone laughing, then see! This 60 overs you should field like hell”.
