The Indian cricket team made a powerful start in the ongoing 3-match T20I series by beating Sri Lanka in the first game by 38 runs. Vice-captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar turned out to be the hero of the game with the ball, as he picked up four wickets and was also named the Player of the Match for his stunning performance. Apart from the match, Yuzvendra Chahal returned back with his post-match presentation show Chahal TV.

Well, for the unversed, Yuzvendra Chahal has been conducting this fun post-match presentation show after the match for a couple of years now. He often takes interviews of players and has a fun, interactive session with his teammates. This time, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the latest guest on Chahal TV.

During the fun session, Bhuvi showed his fun side to the world as he poked fun at Chahal for ignoring him for so long as it was his maiden appearance on Chahal TV. Talking about the same, Bhuvi said:

“I am upset with Chahal, as this is my first time on his show. I kept making signs from the dressing room, requesting him to invite me on the show, but he never called me,”

Apart from having Bhuvi on his TV show, Chahal had Deepak Chahar on his show too. The trio was also seen having a serious discussion. Bhuvi was asked about how he bowled according to his strengths in the 1st T20I against Sri Lanka.  He said:

“There was a bit of swing early on. With Sri Lankan batters taking risks early on, there were boundaries. In the middle overs, the focus was on getting as many dot balls as possible, and towards the death, I looked to take the pace off the ball. Things fell in place in terms of execution.”

Talking about Chahal’s performance, he also carried his fine form from the ODIs to T20Is by being economical in the 1st game. He only gave away just 19 runs and picked up one wicket. Meanwhile, the second T20I will be played on Tuesday (27 July).
