“His Average..”: Iceland Cricket Hilariously Trolled Babar Azam On Twitter: The Iceland Cricket Twitter admin is one of the wittiest social media accounts on #CricketTwitter. Although Iceland doesn’t have an international cricket team, the Iceland Cricket Twitter account gives regular tweets on various things around cricket.

Recently, the Iceland Cricket Twitter admin hilariously trolled former Pakistan captain and their star batter, Babar Azam.

When the World of Statistics Twitter page, @stats_feed, asked its followers about what are the things that haven’t gone back to normal as the COVID pandemic has subsided, the Iceland Cricket Twitter account gave a hilarious answer.

“What is something that still hasn’t gone back to normal after the pandemic?” the World of Statistics Twitter page asked.

Quoting this, the Iceland Cricket Twitter admin replied: “The batting average of Babar Azam”

This tweet went viral and has got over 15,000 likes and 2k retweets. While Pakistani fans tried to hit back at the Iceal Cricket Twitter admin, Indians roasted Babar Azam.

Seeing the reactions of Indians and Pakistanis, the Iceland Cricket Twitter admin tweeted: “The British-Icelandic admin had no clue what fury he was about to unleash”

Shan Masood, Shaheen Afridi replaced Babar Azam as Pakistan’s captains

Meanwhile, after the loss in the Asia Cup and World Cup 2023, Babar Azam was replaced by Shaheen Afridi as Pakistan’s T20I captain and by Shan Masood as Test skipper.

While Babar Azam publicly resigned as the all-format captain, it’s been learned that the PCB wanted him to lead in the Test series in Australia, but Babar didn’t want to captain anymore.

Babar said in a statement: “Today, I am stepping down as the captain of Pakistan in all formats. It’s a difficult decision but I feel it is a right time for this call. I will continue to represent Pakistan as a player in all three formats. I am here to support the new captain and the team with my experience and dedication. I want to express my sincere thanks to the PCB for entrusting me with this significant responsibility.”
