Brett Lee, one of the best fast bowlers in cricket history, was all praise for India’s ace batsman Virat Kohli in an interview to IndianExpress.com. Lee, who fast a nightmare for batsmen during his playing days, said he will first pray before bowling to Virat Kohli. Lee said that Virat has a very wide variety of strokes and it is very difficult to contain him in limited-overs cricket.

“First I will pray. There will be a lot of praying going. Please don’t hit me for a six. Virat Kohli is so powerful. He is strong in all parts of the field. He is a 360 degree player. If in One day cricket you have to detain him or make him not score runs, I would probably bowl the wide line yorker. If tries he to hit me over cover, I will push it wide,” Brett Lee said in an exclusive chat with IndianExpress.com.

Talking about Kohli’s aggression, Brett Lee said, Kohli has controlled aggression and he doesn’t go over the line. Lee also said that he enjoys watching Kohli bat and he is the best batsmen in the world currently.

“He is brilliant on the pitch. He has got that control and aggression. I love the way he plays cricket. I think he is passionate, he doesn’t go over the line and he is the best batsman in the world currently,”said the 39-year-old.”
