Not just with the bat, Yashasvi Jaiswal also showed his brilliance with the ball in the semi-final as he gave a major breakthrough to his side by dismissing Pakistan’s Haider Ali (56) and Rohail Nazir (62), who were smashing Indian bowlers to all the corners of the ground.
After the match came to an end, with the Indian cricket team entering the world cup final, Twitterati lauded the performance of Yashasvi Jaiswal.
Legendary Windies cricketer Ian Bishop was also very impressed with the performance of Yashasvi Jaiswal. Ian Bishop took to his twitter and wrote a wonderful tweet for Yashasvi praising his brilliance with the bat. Ian wrote:
I think we’ve seen something very special today in Yashasvi Jaiswal. First time for me watching him live. A young guy who can pace his innings to the teams needs. He understands batsmanship. First ICCU19CWC?????????.”
