The International Cricket Council (ICC) shared a picture of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan with the ODI World Cup 2023 trophy and fans were sent into a frenzy. The BCCI is all set to host the ODI World Cup in 2023 between October 5 and November 19 with ten teams competing against each other in the prestigious tournament.

Talking about the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023, this is for the first time that India is hosting the marquee tournament on its own. In the past, India has hosted the marquee tournament.
Last edition’s finalists – England and New Zealand will lock their horns with a thrilling opener to get the tournament underway.
India will start their campaign with a clash against Australia on October 8 and the Rohit Sharma-led side will lock horns with Pakistan in a high-voltage clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 15.
While the IND vs PAK game is arguably the biggest from the schedule in the round-robin stage, Australia’s clash against South Africa on October 13th in Lucknow is also one of the biggest games.
ICC World Cup Schedule 2023- Tournament Venues:
- There will be a total of 10 venues – Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Dharamsala, Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Pune, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Kolkata.
- Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram in addition to Hyderabad will host the warm-up matches from 29 September to 3 October.
