ICC has released the latest test rankings and the Eden Gardens Test has had a great impact in the latest rankings. Indian Skipper Virat Kohli moved to the 5th spot owing to his 18th Test Century at the Eden Gardens. This was also his 50th international hundred. He edged past Australia’s David Warner to take the 5th spot. He’s already the top ranked batsman in both, ODIs and T20s.

Pujara on the other hand maintained his fourth spot and Rahul too held on to the 8th spot. But Ajinkya Rahane suffered a loss of four places and plunged to the fourteenth spot in the ICC test rankings.

Coming to the bowling department, Jimmy Anderson retained the top spot. Ravindra Jadeja slipped a spot and came to the 3rd spot. Ashwin and Herath maintained their spots being at 4th and 5th spots respectively. South African young gun Kagiso Rabada too maintained the second spot.
