A tweet by Iceland Cricket about India’s ace-spinner Ravi Ashwin has been going crazily viral on social media, which was followed by hilarious responses from cricket fans. The official Twitter handle of Iceland Cricket also included legendary Don Bradman in the hilarious banter that has caught everyone’s attention.

In their Tweet, Iceland Cricket underlined ‘context’ and ‘luck’ factors in life and claimed how Ashwin would have ended up taking as many wickets as Muttiah Muralitharan if he had been born in Sri Lanka. Iceland Cricket wrote:

“Context and luck is everything in life. If Ravi Ashwin had been born in Sri Lanka, he would probably end his career with as many wickets as Muralitharan. If Don Bradman had been born in Iceland, he’d have scored no international runs and been a below par fisherman. That’s life,”

The Tweet went viral in no time and was flooded with hilarious and witty responses from the fans. “If Virat Kohli was born in South Africa he’d probably be a club cricketer,” responded a user. Another one wrote, “England wouldn’t have won 2019 world Cup, nz wouldn’t have won WTC.”

Several Indian fans didn’t miss the chance of bringing David Warner to the South Indian movie industry and linking AB de Villiers to the Indian cricket team. “If ABD was born In India he would probably get more hype than other cricket players” and “If warner had been born in India he would have been called the greatest opener with same stats”

Well Iceland cricket, why are cribbing over luck. Bravery leads to luck. In history, the instances prove it. Just be positive and just be brave, futuristic, your cricket will prosper.

They have a history of warriors called Vikings, bravery is probably not something missing in their journey, may be general lack of interest in public, who knows one great campaign may light a fire of both interest and achivement, good luck @icelandcricket .

If Don was born a South African, he would Kolpak and then start playing for Eng and would score at 99.94 against the Aussies.

If Ashwin was born in England he would be an 80mph swing bowler

If David Warner had been born in India, he’d have scored no international runs and been a successful Tollywood superstar. That’s life. pic.twitter.com/VMJMQHkZEB
