In the last match of Chennai Super Kings against Kolkata Knight Riders which was held at Chepauk Stadium, a very shameful act was recorded on the tape. The act disappointed has disappointed every Indian and has made us drop our heads very low.
The stadium was filled with the huge crowd who came their to witness the most thrilling match of the tournament between the two most loved teams of IPL. The crowd present at the Chepauk Stadium was by far the most lively crowd in the IPL league till now. The complete stadium was jam packed and was cheering for their favorite teams at the peak of their voices.
However, a few insane people tried to spoil everything. A couple of culprits were arrested by the police for hurling a shoe at Ravindra Jadeja.
Yes, as there were protests going on in the state of Tamil Nadu, some protesters made their way into the stadium as well, many protesters were seen carrying the red flag to mark their protesters.
One of the protesters lost his cool and flung his shoe at the cricketers from the F Upper stand at the venue to the ground. One of the shoes hurdled upto the ground near Ravindra Jadeja , who was present at the border doing fielding at that time. However the culrpit missed his target and the shoe ended up hurling at the boundary rope.
Also, Faf Du Plessis and Lungi Ngidi were very near when the shoe flung to the ground as they were taking a walk.
Earlier Ravindra Jadeja had took to twitter and showed his humble nature by showing love to CSK fans. Now, CSK player Imran Tahir has took to twitter and opened up about the matter.
However his tweet was in regards to a reply to a fan who had apologized to Imran Tahir and Faf Du Plessis on behalf of complete Tamil Nadu. Here’s what the fan tweeted:
