In the fourth ODI between India and South Africa, their spinner Imran Tahir was subjected to an unprecedented racism. Lewd comments were hurled by a spectator on Imran Tahir and these comments were racist in nature.
Its a matter of great pride for someone to represent his nation on the international level. But it is very disheartening when you have to come across a racist slur. Discrimination against someone for his skin colour or religion is the most unethical thing one can do and this fan did just about the same.
In the 4th ODI which was the Pink ODI, Imran Tahir was no a part of South Africa’s playing XI. He was seen having a scuffle with one of the spectators sitting in the stands. Cricket South Africa also confirmed the news later and reported it as a racist slur.
Imran Tahir also guided the security personnel at the Johannesburg stadium to identify the one who passed lewd comments on him. The security team took the necessary actions thereafter.

This message is a humble response not to just that particular fan but to everyone who fancies discrimination on grounds of religion or color.
