Ind vs Aus: Team India kickstarted Day 2 of the ongoing fourth Test match with a positive note as they were able to wrap up the Australian lower-order. Though the Australian tailenders added 57 runs for the final four wickets, but team India would be happy to see the target not getting close to 400.
On the other hand, the Australian side couldn’t get off to a solid start as Tim Paine and Cameron Green were dismissed in quick succession.
The Indian bowlers put up a fantastic show at the Gabba. And just when Tim Paine and Cameron Green looked comfortable in the middle, Mohammed Siraj and Natarajan tightened things up. However, the much-needed breakthrough was provided by Shardul Thakur, who brought India back into the game with his masterclass.

Thakur got rid of Tim Paine and Rohit Sharma completed another catch at slip. Soon after Paine Washington Sundar sent Cameron Green back to the pavilion. Following this, the wickets of Australian tailenders fell in quick successions.
In the very next over, Shardul Thakur once again proved his prowess as a bowler and got rid of Pat Cummins. Later, Nathan Lyon and Mitchell Starc tried to bring back the momentum as they added 35 runs in the next five overs. But their partnership was soon broken with the masterclass of Washington Sundar, who got his third Test wicket by dismissing Nathan Lyon. T Natarajan sent his next victim Josh Hazlewood back to the pavilion before the teams went in for Lunch.
Australian cricket team were 369 all out after 115.2 overs. Meanwhile, fans flooded social media with their reactions to the performances given by the players on the morning of day 2.

Doesn’t matter if we lose this test (for the record I am happy to eat my words after having predicted a 4-0 whitewash for us), the performance of our debutant bowlers will always inspire future generations.#INDvAUS

Natarajan had the best bowling figure by an Indian in the first innings and this was his debut Test match. What a start, Nattu. pic.twitter.com/r4XbkDjlD0

India had two debutants, playing at Gabba, against full-strength Australian side without much experience in FC cricket:
Natarajan – 3/78
Sundar – 3/89Shows how strong is the bench strength of India.

was it just me or were all of you praying for @ajinkyarahane88 to let @Natarajan_91 bowl to the tailenders. 2 balls is all it takes for this young man to show what he is capable of. Way to go Nattu.

Australia’s tail wagged, but not enough to dent India’s aspirations. India’s rookie attack has done splendidly to keep the team in the match after so many batsmen got a start. Fantastic debut efforts by Natarajan and Sundar
