IND vs BAN: Fans React After Mohammed Siraj imitates Cristiano Ronaldo’s Celebration After Dismissing Litton Das

The Indian cricket team got off to a flying start in the 2nd ODI match against Bangladesh in Dhaka, all thanks to the Indian bowlers. At the end of the 19th over mark, Bangladesh was reduced to 69/6 with pacer Umran Malik, Mohammed Siraj, and off-spinner Washington Sundar giving a difficult time to Bangladesh’s batters. While Umran Malik stole all the attention with his pace, it was Mohammed Siraj who provided the first two breakthroughs for India, getting the wickets of opener Anamul Haque and captain Litton Das.

As the game kickstarted, Bangladesh opted to bat first in the game after Litton Das won the toss. Eyeing a historic series victory against India, Bangladesh got off to a rocky start all thanks to the sensational opening spell by Mohammed Siraj. 

Siraj was breathing fire at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka as he trapped Anamul Haque’s plumb in front of the wicket in the second over to give India a blistering start in the game. However, the hosts faced a massive blow when Siraj dismissed their captain in the 10th over of the game with a stunning inswinging delivery. Litton Das didn’t account for the extravagant movement and went for a booming drive leaving a big gap between his pad and the bat. Eventually, he was dismissed and what followed was a unique celebration by Mohammed Siraj.

Mohammed Siraj is well known for performing football great Cristiano Ronaldo’s iconic ‘Siu’ celebration in the past. While the pacer has managed to pull off the celebrations for quite some time in his career. However, the star pacer has been seen performing Ronaldo’s new ‘nap’ goal celebration in the ongoing series.

 Fir tge unversed, Ronaldo is widely known to pull off the ‘Siu’ celebration for years after scoring for his club or national side. However, during the Premier League 2022-23, he was seen doing the ‘nap’ goal celebration.
