The Indian cricket team kickstarted the ongoing 3-match ODI series against Bangladesh with a disappointing note as they were defeated by the hosts by 1 wicket in the series opener on Sunday. While it was a terrible day for the Indian batters on the field, however, the Indian bowlers performed exceptionally well. One of the few Indian players who managed to impress everyone with his performance was pacer Mohammad Siraj. Not only did he manage to pick up wickets at regular intervals, but he also managed to grab all the limelight with his celebration style as he was seen imitating his favorite football player.

Mohammad Siraj ran through the Bangladesh batting line-up with his amazing bowling performance. Siraj ended with the figures of 3/32 in his 10 overs, picking up the wickets of Anamul Haque, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Hasan Mahmud.

After dismissing his third wicket of the day — Hasan Mahmud, Siraj was seen celebrating in style as he imitated the famous and latest ‘Peace’ celebration of Cristiano Ronaldo, where he folds his hands in front of his chest and looks up at the sky and closes his eyes. Notably, Ronaldo came up with this celebration this season only and Siraj too seems to have upgraded his celebration style according to his favorite player.

Pictures and videos of Siraj’s new celebrations are going viral on the internet. Check them out here:

This isn’t the first time that Siraj has imitated  Cristiano Ronaldo’s celebration style. He had earlier imitated Cristiano Ronaldo’s famous SIUUU celebration multiple times, both for India and for Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Talking about the game, the Indian batting order collapsed badly, KL Rahul, who was going through a terrible form was the only silver lining for team India. The Indian bowlers performed exceptionally well as well, however, a 51-run partnership for the 10th wicket took the Bangladesh side over the line.
