After suffering two back-to-back defeats in the 3-match ODI series against Bangladesh, the Indian cricket team made a solid comeback in the dead rubber – 3rd ODI, courtesy of a stupendous batting display by Ishan Kishan and Virat Kohli and a brilliant bowling display. Riding on the stellar knocks of Virat and Ishan, the Indian side put up a big total of 409 on the board and bowled out Bangladesh for 182 to register a 227-run win against Bangladesh in the 3rd ODI against Bangladesh in Chattogram.

Replacing the Indian captain Rohit Sharma, who was ruled out due to a thumb injury, Ishan Kishan walked out to open the innings with Shikhar Dhawan. However, what followed was nothing short of carnage at Chattogram. The 24-year-old set the stage on fire as he walked out to bat with all-guns-blazing and took the game by storm.

Kishan eventually got out for 210 runs, having slammed 24 boundaries and 10 sixes in his innings. With his sensational knock, Ishan created history as he became the fourth Indian and seventh batter overall to score a double century in ODI matches.

As soon as Ishan Kishan crossed the double century mark, the Indian head coach Rahul Dravid, who is known for his calm and composed demeanor, couldn’t hold back as he was roared in celebration as he jumped up from his seat.
