India suffered another knockout heartbreak, this time it was even more painful as England hammered the Men In Blue by all 10 wickets in the Adelaide semi-final, chasing down the target of 169 in 16 overs and send Rohit Sharma’s men packing.
Man of the Match Alex Hales scored 86* off 47 balls and skipper Jos Buttler scored 80* off 49 balls to take England through to the final. They have booked the final with Pakistan, to be played on Sunday at the MCG.
In the big game, the Indian openers again were disappointing. KL Rahul scored 5 runs in 5 balls and got out in the second over, while Rohit Sharma scratched and struggled for big hits throughout his innings, eventually getting out for 27 runs off 28 balls.
Virat Kohli scored 50 off 40 balls but got out before he could tee off in the end. It was Hardik Pandya’s onslaught in the death overs as he finished with 63 runs off 33 balls that took India to a respectable total, even that turned out to be a below-par target.
Myntra trolls KL Rahul gets slammed by fans

KL Rahul finished his T20 World Cup 2022 campaign with 128 runs in 6 innings at a strike rate of 120. His two half-centuries came against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.
Invariably, KL Rahul was trolled as he got out for 5 runs in the semi-final. While fans went hard at the Indian opener, it was surprising to see one of the biggest companies in India, Myntra, trolling KL Rahul.
Myntra, one of the largest clothes-selling brands in the country posted a picture of a t-shirt that had the word “OUT” written with “of this world” cut out, and it was captioned: “KL Rahul’s fav t-shirt:”

This was a derogatory and mocking tweet from Myntra, who had KL Rahul as a brand endorser in the past.
Many fans didn’t like this mocking of an India player and the vice-captain of the side by a big company. Here are some tweets of fans slamming Myntra for their tweet on KL Rahul:
wtf myntra

When trolls do it, it’s fine.
When reputed brands do it, it’s bullying.— Lochan sharma (@lochu383) November 10, 2022
Shame on you @myntra
