'Maar Yar Jaldi, Snow Mein Ghoom Ke Aayenge Upar' Sarfaraz Khan's Stup Mic Comment Goes Viral

India registered a commanding 2-1 series win against England in the five-match home test series. England came to India and wanted to challenge India with their new ‘Bazball’ approach. They also managed to win the first test in Hyderabad. However, the young Indian cricket Team made a strong comeback and won the next four test matches to squash England’s dream of doing the unthinkable.

In the fifth test match in the scenic beauty of Dharamshala, England won the toss and elected to bat first. However, they lost their way out due to the wicket-taking skills of Ravichandran Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav. England managed to get skittled for just 218 runs. Then, in the first inning, India scored 477 runs, riding the centuries of Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma and the half-centuries of Devutt Padikkal and Sarfaraz Khan. Meanwhile, England again got dismissed for 195 runs. Hence, they lost the game by an inning and 64 runs.

During the fifth test match, Sarfaraz took it upon himself to ruffle the feathers of the young cricketer, Shoaib Bashir, amidst the well-established tension between teams. With England’s batting lineup struggling at eight wickets down for just 141 runs, the prospect of a swift resolution loomed. Despite this, Joe Root and Bashir displayed resilience, frustrating the Indian fielders with their partnership lasting over 11 overs.

Sarfaraz seized the moment to inject a bit of humor into the intense atmosphere. In a lighthearted jest, he urged Bashir to hasten the match’s conclusion so that both teams could relish their time amidst the snowy peaks of the Himalayas.

“Maar yar jaldi, snow mein chalte hain upar. Chal, ghoom ke aayenge (Man, just finish it off quickly, we’ll go up in the snow. Get done with this, we’ll hang out),” Sarfaraz Khan was heard saying on the stump mic.
