After finishing the 3-match T20I series against New Zealand with a win, all the focus has now shifted to the upcoming ODI series against New Zealand. The Men in Blue are now all set to take on the Kiwis in a 3-match ODI series starting Friday, November 25. The Indian side will have a new captain in ODIs as all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who led the side in the 3-match T20I series, has been rested for the ODI series.

Veteran opener Shikhar Dhawan will be filling the shoes of the captain for the ODI series. Earlier he had led the Men in Blue in the ODI series against the West Indies and South Africa. He is all set to lead the Indian side in the absence of regular skipper Rohit Sharma and vice-captain KL Rahul.

Besides Rohit Sharma, senior players like KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammed Shami have been rested for the series and thus young talents will get an incredible opportunity to prove themselves on the big stage.
