IND vs NZ: Prithvi Shaw Shared An Emotional Post After Getting Ignored By The BCCI Yet Again

On Monday, the  Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the squads for the upcoming away bilateral series against New Zealand and Bangladesh respectively. While a few emerging players got an India call-up, one of the biggest missings from the squads turned out to be Prithvi Shaw.

Yes, Prithvi has yet again been ignored in what seems to be rather unfortunate. Surprisingly, Shaw has not been included in either of the four squads. Notably, Shaw has constantly been overlooked by the selectors despite his consistent performances in the domestic circuit.

Earlier this month, he had grabbed all the limelight for scoring a 46-ball century against Assam in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022 match. Shaw’s knock had helped Mumbai to a mammoth 230/3 which eventually helped the Ajinkya Rahane-led side emerge out on top by 61 runs. Despite his amazing performances, he has been snubbed once again by the selectors.

Disappointed with his non-selection in the team, Prithvi Shaw got emotional and shared a story on his official Instagram account, expressing his thoughts on the same. He shared a picture of Sai Babar and wrote: “Hope you are watching everything Sai Babar”

Check out the Instagram story of Prithvi Shaw:
