Criticism and Jasprit Bumrah, two things that never look good together but sadly things seem to be changing now. Jasprit Bumrah, who is regarded as one of the finest bowlers of the Indian cricket team has found himself at the receiving end of criticism and trolling on social media all thanks to his poor form, ever since he returned back from the injury.
Jasprit Bumrah, who made his debut in the year 2016, has gone from strength to strength. It has only been a couple of years since he stepped into the International scene, Jasprit Bumrah has gone on to leave a mark in the cricket world with his stunning performances that are famous for giving nightmares to the opponents.
However, his stunning journey was briefly halted by a back injury last year. Jasprit Bumrah returned to action last month during the T20I series against Sri Lanka. But ever since his return, he has been struggling to deliver upto the standards set by him.

After having a disappointing game against Sri Lanka, he carried his poor form against Australia as well and was able to pick up only one wicket in the three-match series.
Seems like things haven’t changed much. Jasprit Bumrah has been struggling to take wickets in the ongoing tour against New Zealand as well. In the just-concluded five-match T20I series, Jasprit Bumrah managed to pick up only six wickets.
However, he gave a miserable performance in the ongoing ODI series. In the first ODI, he conceded 53 runs without picking up a wicket and in the ongoing second ODI against New Zealand, Bumrah once again failed to pick any wickets and give India a much-needed breakthrough.
The Indian cricket fans are very disappointed with the performance of one of the most loved bowlers of the country. Fans are worried about the poor form of Jasprit Bumrah and are expressing their concerns about it.
Here, check out the reactions of Twitterati on this:
Never thought I’ll be seeing Jasprit Bumrah as the worst bowler of the lineup for the 2nd time in 2 weeks with batsmen smashing him at the death and that too a No.10 batsman.

Jasprit Bumrah has been economical in past but he’s not looking into his own rhythm, after his comeback he’s not completely yet the Jasprit Bumrah we used to know. Missing blockholes and struggling with his line!! Hopefully we can see the old Bumrah in test matches.

Bumrah has got into his 4-over rhythm as we saw in the last 2 t20s but is finding it hard to sustain the same pressure while bowling in 10-over spell matches. He has just played 5 ODI after the return. Mentally it does take time especially on small grounds. 1/n

Now days Bumrah seems like underrated bowler?. I feel Thakur and Saini better than Bumrah. #bumrah #NZvsIND @BCCI

Bumrah’s failures & continuous failures hurt very badly. I mean how do people have enough heart to troll him, it already feels broken by his performance? Peak Bumrah wouldn’t have allowed NZ’s recovery & such fine recovery. #NZvsIND
