IND vs PAK: Here’s Why Fans Shouldn’t Worry About Rain Anymore

Arch-rivals India has won five of the six times that India and Pakistan have faced off against each other in the history of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. Here is a summary of each of the matches and how both sides performed. 

 When India and Pakistan square off in the opening match of the 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup on Sunday, October 23, the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground will erupt in fireworks. Emotions will be at an all-time high for the Super 12 Group B match as both teams attempt to start their World Cup campaigns on a high note. 

The whole night here in Melbourne it was lightning, thunderstorm and heavy Rainfall it was torrential rainfall through the night.

 If this goes on throughout the day then tomorrow there will be no cricket between India and Pakistan. 

The Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology reports that since 9 am local time on Saturday, there has been 4.2 mm (about 0.17 in) of rain. Additionally, from Saturday, October 22, 11:57 a.m. (AEDT), through Sunday, October 23, 11:57 a.m., a minor flood warning has been issued (AEDT).

According to the report, Pakistan had an optional training session and captain Babar Azam will address the media soon, while India captain Rohit Sharma will address the media at 2.30 here at Melbourne. 

India enters this championship having won the home T20I (Twenty20 International) series against Australia and South Africa. The UAE hosted the 2021 T20 World Cup, and India was eliminated during the group round . India defeated Pakistan in the championship match of the inaugural T20 World Cup in Johannesburg in 2007. Along with Pakistan, India will go off against South Africa, Bangladesh, the losers of Group A, and the winners of Group B.
