Suresh Raina, a former cricketer for India, was one of many who rather predicted what would happen to Pakistan batter Babar Azam in the match against India.

There are only two days until the highly anticipated India vs. Pakistan T20 World Cup match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, and predictions have already started to flow in. Suresh Raina, a former cricketer for India, was one of many who rather predicted what would happen to Pakistani batter Babar Azam in the match against India. He praised the Pakistani opener and anticipated the Indian bowler who would get rid of him.

The preliminary phase of the T20 World Cup in Australia began on Sunday of last week, and it will conclude on Friday with the final group stage match, which will determine which side will advance to the Super 12 stage of the competition. At the Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday, the second round will get underway with a rematch of the 2021 T20 World Cup final between hosts and defending champions Australia and New Zealand. The second Super 12 match in Group 2 will feature India vs. Pakistan on October 23 at the MCG.

In his conversation with Quint, Raina praised Babar in great detail but predicted that the star Indian bowler, Arshdeep Singh, will get rid of him in the match with India.

Suresh Raina statement

“He is good skipper and a really good cricketer. He has done really well for his team. But hopefully, when he comes to play against us, Arshdeep Singh will get him out,”.

Following their two encounters at the Asia Cup last month, this will be the third time the two will meet in a T20I contest. Against Arshdeep, Babar scored six runs in as many balls, including a boundary and three dot balls, over the course of two innings.

Babar has, however, demonstrated some weakness when facing left-arm pacers. In the last two years, he has been removed 12 times by the variety, with a strike rate of 133 in T20 cricket.
