What no one saw coming was that this tweet from Shami sparked a temperature-tweet-fest between Indians and Pakistanis!

Plenty of fans from both nations reacted to Shamsi’s tweet with the temperatures of their cities and it led to a hilarious series of tweets.

Here are some of the best ones:

Tabraiz Shamsi will be a key figure for the visitors. He’s the numero uno ICC T20I bowler, by a distance and has been in this position for a while now. The chinaman has a number of variations, including a sharp googly.

Last year, 2021, Shamsi snapped up 36 wickets in 22 matches, his average of 13.36 and economy of 5.7 last year amongst the best a bowler has had across an entire year. He is expected to prove difficult to score against for the Indian batting line-up that will be missing Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Suryakumar Yadav, who is regarded as one of the finest batsmen of spin bowling.

After the first T20I on Thursday, the teams fly to Cuttack for the second game on Sunday, followed by matches in Visakhapatnam, Rajkot and the series will conclude on June 19th in Bangalore.
