IND vs SA: Indian Fans Are Trolling Pakistan Cricket Team Left, Right And Center On Twitter

South Africa jumped to the top of the points-table of the table in Group 2 with a five-wicket win over Team India at the Optus Stadium in Perth. This was also the Indian cricket team’s first defeat in the ongoing tournament, after winning two games in a row against Pakistan and Netherlands. David Miller and Aiden Markram emerged out to be the heroes for the South African side as they ensured that Suryakumar Yadav’s exceptional knock went in vain.

After electing to bat first, the Indian side started on the worst possible note as they lost their openers early in the innings. The Indian side was struggling badly when Surya came to bat and was at 49/5 at one stage but he single-handedly took India to a safe total of 133/9 in 20 overs. While every other batter struggled for runs from the other end, SKY shone brightly. He smashed 3 sixes and 6 boundaries while batting with a strike rate of 170.00. However, his outstanding knock went in vain as the Indian side failed to defend the target of 134 runs.

Coming out to bowl, India made a brilliant start to the ball with Arshdeep Singh bowling an incredible first over to dismiss the in-form pair of Quinton de Kock and Rilee Rossouw for ducks. Soon, captain  Temba Bavuma was dismissed for 10 by Mohammed Shami.

Halfway into the chase, the Proteas just had 39 runs on the board as India applied excellent control over the game. The Indian side made things difficult for themselves by giving Markram multiple chances as Kohli dropped an easy catch while skipper Rohit messed up a simple run-out opportunity. Eventually, he was dismissed by Hardik Pandya for a 41-ball 52.

Meanwhile, the Indian fans had a gala time on Twitter despite the defeat. Though, the Men in Blue lost the game but the Indian fans were busy trolling the Pakistan cricket team. Pakistan fans, who had pinned all their hopes on an Indian win after losing their 2 out 3 matches already in the T20 World Cup, also had a massive meltdown on Twitter.
