India vs Australia 2017, Fourth Test, Dharamshala: Ravindra Jadeja has worked very on his batting and bowling in the last 12 months or so and this is the reason why he is one of the best all-rounders in Test cricket. Jadeja is regarded as a bowler who cal also bat a bit but in his last few performances, he has shown that he is on track to become a complete all-rounder for India.

In the ongoing fourth Test between India and Australia, Ravindra Jadeja reached 1000 runs in Test cricket. He became only the 10th Indian player, after Ravichandran Ashwin, Irfan Pathan, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh, Javagal Srinath, Anil Kumble, Ravi Shastri, Kapil Dev, and Vinoo Mankad to complete the unique feat of scoring 1,000 Test runs and taking 100 Test wickets as well.

On Day 2, when Ravindra Jadeja was batting, Australia’s wicketkeeper Matthew Wade tried to get under Jadeja’s skin by constantly chirping behind the stumps. But Jadeja gave him a cracking reply. Here’s what happened:

86.4 “Very good in all conditions, Gary. Great in all conditions, Gary.”

86.5  “Showed you can do it all conditions, Gary. You get wickets all over the world, mate. You’re not just a one-trick pony.”

86.6 Ravindra Jadeja steps down the wicket and dispatches Nathan Lyon for a big six over wide long-on.

After this, Matthew Wade didn’t try this tactic against Ravindra Jadeja for the rest of the day.
