India vs Australia 2017, Third Test, Ranchi: Indian skipper Virat Kohli was all pumped up when took the field on Day 4 of third Test match between India and Australia at JSCA stadium in Ranchi.

Kohli injured his right shoulder while fielding and he had to stay away from the action for the first two days. During India’s innings, Australia’s all-rounder Glenn Maxwell trolled Virat Kohli by mocking his injury on the field. In return, when Australia came out to bat for their second innings and Ravindra Jadeja dismissed David Warner, Virat Kohli couldn’t stop himself from giving it back to Aussies and pointed towards his injured shoulder in a very animated way.

While Indian cricket fans enjoyed this aggressive celebration by their captain, it didn’t go too well with Star Sports’ commentator and Virat Kohli’s former teammate VVS Laxman. During a post-match show, VVS Laxman criticised Kohli for his behaviour on the field.

“I was to disappointed to see Virat Kohli celebrate like that after David Warner’s wicket” VVS Laxman said during a post match show on Star Sports.

“He [Kohli] is the captain. If someone made a mistake, that does not mean he has to repeat it on the field,” Laxman added.
