India vs Bangladesh 2017: The costliest mistake Bangladesh made today

Bangladesh missed many chances and half India’s skipper Virat Kohli chose to bat first. India lost KL Rahul early but Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara batted brilliantly for the second wicket and put India in a strong position. Both, Pujara and Vijay are technically very sound and they showed a lot of patience in the first session of day’s play.

Bangladesh did get chances in between but they missed it more often than not. Many catches went down in the slip cordon but the biggest miss of the session was the missed run-out chance. There was a misunderstanding between Pujara and Vijay and they were stuck at one end. Vijay, who played the shot, made the initial moment but then backed off. But Pujara saw Vijay making a move and he carried on with the run. Finally, Vijay started running towards the bowler’s end and he was miles behind the crease when the bowler Mehedi Hasan made an absolute mess of it and gave Murali Vijay a lifeline, which will now prove very costly for Bangladesh in the end.
