In the first innings of the ongoing one-off Test against Bangladesh, Virat Kohli scored his fourth double hundred in consecutive and became the first batsman in cricket history to do so. Kohli batted with authority and played an almost flawless innings. It was a good batting wicket and Kohli made the most of it, thanks to his astute shot selection.

He scored the first double hundred of his Test career against West Indies in Antigua. He then scored his third double hundred against England at Wankhede stadium. Kohli rated his double hundred as one of the most “satisfying” knocks of his Test career so far.
