Last night, Kolkata Knight Riders started their Indian Premiere League’s journey for 11th season by giving a bang-on performance against the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The Kolkata Knight Riders marked their first victory in the tournament by defeating the star studded line-up of Royal Challengers Bangalore at the famous Eden Gardens of Kolkata. The RCB team gave the target of 176 runs and KKR team won the match by four wickets.
Although it wasn’t an easy thing for them to win the match against the RCB, which has all the top players in their team and has a star-studded line up. It’s a treat to watch the best performers like AB De Villiers and Virat Kohli playing with each in a single team. However, Kolkata Knight Riders won the match defeating them all.
The fans of both the teams have literally taken over the social media. After the loss of Royal Challengers Bangalore, the fans of the team were very disappointed. Twitter saw the flood of tweets from the fans of both the teams and cricketers all around the world.
Even English cricketer Ben Duckett also tweeted about RCB losing the match. However, his tweet was a bit controversial and it wasn’t taken well by the fans of the RCB team.

As soon as the fans of RCB saw his tweet they started abusing the cricketer, from shaming his game to calling him names, the fans were trolling him badly. However, the cricketer took to twitter again to clarify the things with some screenshot of the hate messages he has been receiving ever since he made the controversial tweet. Well, this is the fever of IPL in India.
The cricketer Ben Duckett last played for England in the year 2016. Because of his low performance he was dropped out of the team and due to his performance off-the ground, he has been restricted from playing for the country.
