Bhuvneshwar Kumar is one of the most improved fast bowlers in the world. In the last couple of years, he has worked very hard on his bowling and fitness and added a couple of yards to his speed.

Many cricket pundits around the world say that Bhuvneshwar Kumar is one of the best swing bowlers in the world. However, till a few months ago, they all also used to add that he needs to be more quick to trouble batters on flatter wickets.

But, now, he has added more speed and answered his critics with hard work and result. Bhuvneshwar is a very versatile fast bowler who can bowl at any stage of the innings.

He is at his best with the new ball because he presents a brilliant seam position and swings the ball both ways, irrespective of the nature of the wicket. But, now that he has added more speed, Bhuvi also comes back to bowl the death overs and delivers yorkers to prevent the flow of runs.

Recently, the Australian captain Steve Smith had said that Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah are two of the best death overs bowlers in the world. This is a big achievement for Bhuvi because, not long ago, he was labeled as a one-dimensional bowler who could only be effective with the new ball.

Bhuvi’s average speed is now in mid 130s, but in the fifth and final match of the ongoing series between India and Australia, he surprised one and all by bowling at 145 kilometres per hour. Now, this is at par with some of the fastest bowlers in the world. And it’s a mighty achievement for the Uttar Pradesh bowler.

A Facebook page ‘Troll Cricket’ pointed this out and posted a meme for its followers. It was made in a funny way but it will make Indian cricket fans happy because they have always loved bowlers who can bowl fast. Check out the picture below:
