Indian Cricketers Showed Us That India Always Comes First: Pop sensation Rihanna and teen climate activist Greta Thunberg took the internet by storm after they came out in support of the ongoing ‘farmers’ protest’ in India. Their tweet brought global attention to the farmer’s protest in India, which has been going on for months now.
However, a day after Rihana and Greta tweeted, Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar joined the ‘India against propaganda’ drive-by leading the call for unity among the citizens of the country. He took to his Twitter and urged the citizens to shift their focus on the efforts being made by the government of India and opined that external forces can be spectators but not participants. He wrote:
“India’s sovereignty cannot be compromised. External forces can be spectators but not participants. Indians know India and should decide for India. Let’s remain united as a nation,”

We as a country have issues to resolve today and will have issues to resolve tomorrow as well, but that doesn’t mean we create a divide or get perturbed by external forces. Everything can be resolved through amicable and unbiased dialogue. #IndiaAgainstPropaganda#IndiaTogether
