Indian Fans Are Trolling PCB After James Faulkner Left PSL Midway Over Payment Issues

Australian All-Rounder James Faulkner has created a stir among the cricket fraternity after he withdrew prematurely from the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) after making some serious allegations against Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

The left-arm pacer, who has been a part of PSL’s Quetta Gladiators in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022, in a series of Tweets claimed that the Pakistani Board hasn’t honored his contractual agreements and payments with him.

Therefore, he decided to leave the tournament midway and he won’t be featuring in the last league-stage game of the franchise. James Faulkner even revealed that PCB officials kept him in the dark with continuous lies. Calling PCB’s treatment a ‘disgrace,’ the Australian all-rounder also mentioned that he had been batting for regular international cricket in Pakistan. He wrote:

“I apologise to the Pakistan cricket fans. But unfortunately I’ve had to withdraw from the last 2 matches and leave the @thePSLt20 due to the @TheRealPCB not honouring my contractual agreement/payments. I’ve been here the whole duration and they have continued to lie to me,”

He added: “It hurts to leave as I wanted to help to get international cricket back in Pakistan as there is so much young talent and the fans are amazing. But the treatment I have received has been a disgrace from the @TheRealPCB and @thePSLt20 I’m sure you all understand my position,”

It has to be noted that Faulkner featured in six games this season and picked as many wickets. He also played some crucial batting knocks lower down the order in the ongoing Pakistan Super League.
