The Indian Champions faced off against Pakistan Champions in the final of the World Championship of Legends in 2024. India have not been at their best in this tournament but Pakistan had been superb in this tournament. However, India brought their A game in the final of the tournament and beat Pakistan by 5 wickets. It was a revenge win for India after Pakistan beat them comprehensively in the group stage. However, India Champions did it when it mattered and it was in the championship game of the tournament. Coming to the game, Pakistan Champions won the toss and elected to bat first.

Pakistan could manage to score 156 runs in their 20 overs. Kamran Akmal scored 24 runs off 19 balls, Shoaib Malik scored 41 runs off 36 balls, Misbah Ul Haq scored 18 runs off 15 balls before getting retired hurt and Sohail Tanveer scored 19 runs off 9 balls. Anureet Singh was the star with the ball for India by picking up 3 wickets. Vinay Kumar, Pawan Negi and Irfan Pathan picked up 1 wicket each.

In reply, India champions chased down the total in 19.1 overs. Ambati Rayudu scored 50 runs off 30 balls, Gurkeerat Singh Mann scored 34 runs off 33 balls, and Yusuf Pathan scored 30 runs off 16 balls. At the end, Yuvraj Singh and Irfan Pathan steered India to victory in the final over.

After the win, the social media erupted with reactions. Pakistani fans were busy in trolling India after they were performing well in the group stages. Now, after winning the tournament and that too beating Pakistan in the final, Indian fans are giving it back to the Pakistan fans.
