With the ICC Cricket World Cup around the corner, the hue and cry about who should India include in their plans have been banging through the roofs. Well, there are a lot of speculations, particularly with a few injuries in the mix. There is hope and yet there is despair.

With all said and done, Indian cricket should ideally find a way to put all of it aside before eventually coming to terms with the best squad for the upcoming quadrennial extravaganza. However, with all the discussions about the players who should be a part of the team, been put side.

Two players who can shine the brightest in Indian colours in the World Cup.

#1 Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli

Needless to say but in Indian conditions, with his recent numbers, with the recently concluded IPL where he scored two consecutive centuries and in all likelihood, if he doesn’t pushes hard enough, this being his last Cricket WC, he would go all guns blazing. This is what sets Virat Kohli aside from the rest of the crew. Also, with Round Robin format where every team will have to play nine games, Kohli is somewhat tailor-made for marathon leagues.

#2 Mohammed Siraj

Siraj has been India’s primary fast bowling weapon and he would be also India’s favourite when it comes to the WC, Mohammed Siraj would love to bowl particularly considering the fact that he has been relentlessly bowling in Indian conditions. He loves to move the ball around and gun in those 140 to 145 clicks. With these numbers in the speed gun, expect Siraj to wreak havoc in the Indian conditions, particularly in the powerplay and the middle-overs too. Hence, when India comes to WC, Siraj would be one of those name that shine.
