India’s Predicted XI For The Third T20I

With Australia winning the second T20I, it boils down to the final game at Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Both the teams will be looking to finish the series on a high and India will look to retain top ranking in the contest.

Here’s a look at the predicted XI:

Rohit Sharma:

Rohit Sharma will be the opener for the match, as he is still one of the best in the world. Despite not clicking in the first T20Is, everybody knows Rohit would love to make a statement in the final game and he will too.

Shikhar Dhawan:

The southpaw is back after a break from the game and hasn’t really had the opportunity to show his explosive talent. The first match, he managed to hit a little runs in a rain-reduced target and didn’t do much in the second.

Virat Kohli

The captain will be hungrier than ever to complete the series and continue the rich winning run that they have been in. Kohli also knows he has to hit big in order to feel better and quieten any unwanted detractors.

Manish Pandey:

The middle-order batsman knows that chances are running out for him to perform and has to make the most of this opportunity that will present itself. He is one big innings away from making a good comeback.

Kedar Jadhav:

Another player whose place in the squad is under scrutiny due to average performances in the T20 series so far. Jadhav must show up and bring the big hitting ability if required in the final game.

MS Dhoni:

Dhoni could possibly be playing his last game against the Australians at home and knows that he would love to end the series with a massive score. He will have to be as reliable as ever behind the stumps as well.

India’s Predicted XI For The Third T20I

Hardik Pandya:

The all-rounder has been in decent form off late and must bring it to the T20 game, as he is at his explosive best in this format. Pandya will need to hit the big ones at the end as well as bowl when called upon.

Yuzvendra Chahal:

The RCB bowler is another one who has been in good form off late and performing well for the team in the series off late. He will need to bring his best if India are to win the series.

Bhuvneswar Kumar:

Bhuvi was one of the best bowlers in the last game and knows that he will have to live up to his big name billing to win India the game. He will need to bowl well in both, the opening overs as well as the final death overs.

Jasprit Bumrah:

Bumrah is another one who has been in good form but knows that for a win, he will have to be at his best form. He is a great death bowler and will find himself being used more towards the end of the innings when called upon.

Kuldeep Yadav

Kuldeep Yadav is one of the most exciting young cricketers in the world. He is India’s first chinaman spinner and it would be interesting to see how he plans to bowl against the likes of David Warner and Aaron Finch.
