Jasprit Bumrah, the Indian pacer is currently rehabilitating after suffering a stress fracture to his back before the home series against South Africa. His road to recovery is going great, which is indeed positive news to Team India and the fans of Jasprit Bumrah.

Bumrah’s fans are eagerly waiting for the world-class pacer to make a solid comeback in the team. He is currently rehabbing at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.

Talking to a leading media, sources close to the pacer clarified that Jasprit Bumrah went through a medical assessment after the Diwali break and he is on the road to recovery. The source also revealed that the pacer might make a comeback during the Australia series. The source said:

“He underwent assessment and his recovery is on track. Can expect him to be back in Indian colors in January and the Australia series could be the one.”

The source also clarified that it is very important to have a world-class player like Bumrah at that time who can deliver the much-needed inputs when he is fully fit. The source said:

“When you are playing in New Zealand, the bowling becomes all the more important. As you have seen in the past as well, it is more about taking 20 wickets there than scoring big hundreds. So, the team management was very clear that they are happy to wait and have him back at his best in time for the New Zealand tour.”
