IPL 2015: 4 Reasons Why You Must Watch The KXIP vs RR Match

It is day three of the IPL 8 and the most mouthwatering match is on the cards. Here, Ashirbad Hazarika look at 4 reasons why you must watch the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) vs Rajasthan Royals (RR) match:

1. Australia vs Australia: Both the teams have the best Australian talent in their ranks. It would be fair to say more than half of the Australian current playing eleven will be on show today with the likes of Mitchell Johnson,George Bailey,Glenn Maxwell for the Kings XI Punjab and Steve Smith,James Faulkner and Shane Watson representing the men from Rajasthan. Australian might go head to head with each other. It doesn’t get better than this!

2. Power Hitters: The t20 format is all about power hitting and sixes. In this match there are some of the best power hitters on display in the tournament, especially for the Kings XI: David Miller,Virender Sehwag and Glenn Maxwell. These men are surely going to play their natural game and one could expect nothing short of fireworks tonight!

3. Neutral Venue: The game is being played in a neutral venue, supposed to be the Kings XI’s second home ground. Both teams do not have much idea about the wicket and it makes things even more interesting as either of the sides will be eager to take the initiative and stamp their authority on the game. The team batting first or the team bowling first are either going to be on the advantage or on the backfoot. We will have to wait and watch.

4. The Return of Virender Sehwag: Virender Sehwag is one of the most loved cricketers in India and all eyes will be on him as the massive army of his supporters is still hopeful that the Nawab of Najafgarh can still make a national comeback. It will be interesting to see whether the good ‘ol Viru smashes the first ball for a four in his trademark style.

Let’s sit back and get ready for one crazy encounter!
