In the match 39 of IPL 2015 between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Daredevils, MI’s Lendl Simmons took one of the most outstanding catches of the tournament.

Yuvraj Singh slashed Lasith Malinga’s delivery towards the point boundary, but Lendl Simmons, who standing at point, dived full length and took an absolute ripper of a catch. The ball was struck very hard by Yuvraj Singh and Simmons showed great commitment and took a blinding catch. This catch was also very important from the match’s point of view as Yuvraj was looking very dangerous and he could have easily added 10-12 more runs to the total. Yuvraj, who was struggling to score runs from the last few games, played a good innings and scored 57 runs to give some respect to the Delhi Daredevils total.
Simmons has also been in great batting for Mumbai Indians at the top of the order. Simmons, who is not rated as highly as some of his West Indies teammates in the Indian Premier League, has been a very good edition to the Mumbai Indians squad. Simmons has given some valuable starts to Mumbai Indians in IPL 2015 and he has been one of the most consistent batsmen for the ‘Men in Blue’.
No matter how many runs Simmons score in IPL 2015, this catch will surely be one of the biggest highlights of the season for him. Even the commentators Alan Wilkins and Sunil Gavaskar were stunned by the sheer brilliance of this catch.
