In the second match of the eighth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni proved that he can do anything with a cricket bat in his hand. Although Dhoni didn’t score too many runs, he played two unbelievably outrageous shots.

The first shot came against Delhi Daredevils’ best fast bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile. Coulter-Nile bowled a cracking bouncer and Dhoni replied by pulling him for six. But, the biggest twist here is that, the ball the ball didn’t go to deep square-leg or deep mid-wicket, but over deep point. Such is the power of MS Dhoni’s blade that a leading edge goes for six in the opposite direction.

Big sixes are always a treat to watch, but there’s some extraordinary about ‘one-handed’ sixes. MS Dhoni showed no respect whatsoever to Coulter-Nile and smashed him out of the park with just one hand.

IPL 2015: These Two Shots Prove That MS Dhoni Can Do Anything With The Bat In Hand

MS Dhoni is one of the most hardest hitters of the cricket ball and his ability to clear the ground at will is second to none. Dhoni’s crucial knock of 30 runs off 27 balls turned out to be a match-winning one as Chennai Super Kings (CSK) won the match by just one 1 run. There were many good moments in this match; Coulter-Nile’s hostile spell of fast bowling with the new ball, Albie Morkel’s brilliant innings of 73 runs off just 55 balls, but the biggest highlight the match was these amazing hits by MS Dhoni.
