IPL 2016: More bad news for Kings XI Punjab

Unnati MadanBy Unnati MadanUpdated:08/02/2023No Comments1 Min Read

Kings XI Punjab’s all-rounder Marcus Stoinis has also pulled out of the league and gone back home. Cricbuzz reported the Kings XI all-rounder leaving his side because of ‘personal unavoidable circumstances‘.

Earlier in the day, his team-mate Glenn Maxwell also returned to Australia citing side strain. Yet another Aussie in the Kings XI set-up, Shaun Marsh too had left the tournament last month due to a back injury.

IPL 2016 has seen a lot of injuries, but Stoinis pulling out of the tournaments for ‘personal unavoidable circumstances’ is a big blow for the Kings, who are already out of the equation as far as the play-offs are concerned.
