Ever since Irfan Pathan has started to play under the leadership of MS Dhoni in the Indian Premier League (IPL), he has featured in only two games. Yes, you read it right. The all-rounder was bought by the Chennai Super Kings in last year’s auction and he didn’t play a single game in that tournament. He had an injury at the beginning but ended up warming the bench even after making a recovery. This season he was bought by the new franchise Rising Pune Supergiants and he has played only two games so far.
This behaviour by MS Dhoni has annoyed Irfan Pathan’s fans and they have been very vocal on the social media. One Twitter user had a funny take on the episode as he posted an adorable picture of Dhoni and his daughter Ziva with the child pointing one finger towards her father. The user captioned the image, using the reference of Pathan. Sehwag then retweeted the image.
