IPL 2016: Wasim Akram picks his ‘Dream XI’ of the tournament

Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) bowling and one of the greatest fast bowlers in cricket history, Wasim Akram, picked his IPL XI (2016). Wasim Akram conceded it was not an easy job to choose 11 players from a pool of talents who have shone this season. However, the legendary bowler found a way to handpick star performers for his team. Akram has been an integral part of the KKR camp and he has helped many young from India and around the world to understand fast bowling better.

Talking to India Today, Akram discussed about some of the best performances and picked a ‘power-packed’ XI of the season. From Kohli’s spectacular show to Andre Russell’s all-round performance, we got to witness quality cricket in IPL 2016. Considering all these performances, Wasim Akram picked a very balanced XI for the season. Here’s Wasim Akram’s ‘Dream XI’ of IPL 2016:

Interestingly, Wasim Akram named Virat Kohli as the captain of his Dream XI.
