With IPL 2017 just around the corner, The Cricket Lounge’s Vikas Poonia lists 5 most attractive players in the auction.

Mitchell Johnson

Australia’s speedster was released by Kings XI Punjab and considering his performances in the recently concluded Big Bash League, many IPL franchises would be chasing him in IPL 2017 auction.  Although, Johnson has retired from international cricket, he is still very fit and bowls very fast.

Irfan Pathan

Irfan Pathan has performed very well with both bat and ball in the domestic tournaments. Pathan has worked very hard on his fitness and he is waiting for the IPL 2017 to impress the selectors and hope for a comeback.

Eoin Morgan

England’s limited-overs captain Eoin Morgan impressed one and all with his brilliant display of batting in the recently concluded England’s tour of India. Morgan is one of the most innovative batsmen in world cricket and considering his technique against spin bowling, he will find many bidders in IPL 2017 auction.

Corey Anderson

Corey Anderson became the talk of the town after he broke Shahid Afridi’s record of the fastest hundred in ODI cricket. Anderson scored a 36-ball hundred against West Indies and this made him a star in the next IPL auction. Anderson didn’t do anything spectacular for Mumbai Indians but he would still be one of the most attractive players in IPL 2017 auction.

Ben Stokes

England’s swashbuckling all-rounder Ben Stokes will be the most attractive players in IPL 2017 auction. Stokes is a very aggressive cricketer and he gives his 100% every time he steps on the field. Stokes was one of the biggest positives for England in the recently concluded tour and he will surely be a big hit in IPL 2017 auction.
