IPL 2017: MS Dhoni steps down from RPS captaincy

MS Dhoni has stepped down from Rising Pune Supergiants’ (RPS) captaincy and Australian skipper Steve Smith will replace him in the tenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2017). This decision has come as a big shock for the RPS and MS Dhoni fans just a day before the IPL 2017 auction which is supposed to be held in Bengaluru on Monday, February 20.

After MS Dhoni resigned as Indian captain his fans were hoping that they would get to see him lead RSP in IPL 2017 but this news will their hearts.
