IPL 2017: With wicketkeeper-batsman KL Rahul ruled out of IPL 2017 with shoulder injury, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are looking for a replacement to replace the Indian international. KL Rahul has been in sparkling form for India and RCB fans were hoping that he would play a crucial role for their team in IPL 2017, specially while playing on his home ground i.e. Chinnaswamy stadium.

But, now that he has been ruled out the tournament, RCB are looking for an ideal replacement and it is being reported that Tamil Nadu’s wicketkeeper-batsman N Jagadeesan has been already called for a trial by the franchise. We have not received any official confirmation from the RCB camp but if media reports are to be believed Jadadeesan will replace kL Rahul in IPL 2017.

“I got a call from RCB to give a trial on April 2nd, but I have no idea on how many players will take part in the trial. It would be great if I could make it to the squad, but at the moment, I have no expectations going into the trials,” N Jadadeesan told Sportskeeda.

N Jadadeesan will be a good replacement for KL Rahul as he is a very good top-order batsman, who keeps wickets for side. In the 2017 Deodhar Trophy, Jadadeesan scored three fifties and he was the third highest scorer in the tournament after Dinesh Karthik and Shikhar Dhawan. Jadadeesan scored 190 runs in the tournament at an average of 63.33 and a strike-rate of 95. His good form was one of the main reasons why Tamil Nadu won the tournament.
