IPL 2017: Delhi Daredevils’ young swashbuckling batsman Rishabh Pant played one of the best IPL innings on Thursday against The Gujarat Lions, at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in Delhi. Pant, who is known for his aggressive style of batting, smashed 9 big sixes in his innings and impressed one and all with his stylish and gutsy display of batting.

Chasing a mammoth total of 208 runs, Delhi rode on Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson’s back, who scored 97 off 43 and 61 off 31 respectively. Even Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter and praised Pant’s knock by calling it one of the best knocks in the history of Indian Premier League.

Pant’s knock was full of boundaries and sixes but its highlight was James Faulkner’s over in which, the young Daredevils batsman smashed 22 runs. Pant started the over with a boundary and then there were two singles.

Then, came two back-to-back sixes. First one sailed over the square leg boundary, while the second one goes over long-on. It was big hitting at its best and even an experienced international bowler like James Faulkner couldn’t do much to stop Rishabh Pant in that kind of a mood. Watch it here:
