Mumbai Indians: Kieron Pollard
Kieron Pollard has played 6 matches in IPL 2018 so far and scored just 63 runs so far. Pollard, who is the senior most member of Mumbai Indians’ squad, in terms of matches played for them, has looked completely out of sorts and this might well be his last season for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League.
Kings XI Punjab: Yuvraj Singh
The sun of the soil, Yuvraj Singh’s return to Kings XI Punjab was celebrated very enthusiastically by the fans but his show in IPL 2018 has been below ordinary so far. Yuvraj, who is regarded as one of the cleanest hitters in cricket history, has played 6 matches so far and scored just 50 runs.
Chennai Super Kings: Ravindra Jadeja
The swashbuckling all-rounder has looked completely out of sorts in IPL 2018 so far. He has not done anything with the ball and his performance with the bat has been a bit hot and very cold. He has taken just 1 wicket with the ball and scored 47 runs in 6 matches.
Sunrisers Hyderabad: Wriddhiman Saha
India’s first choice wicketkeeper in Test cricket, Wriddhiman Saha, has been horribly out of touch with the bat in IPL 2018 so far. His work behind the stumps has been good but, with his willow, he has only contributed 68 runs in 7 matches.
Royal Challengers Bangalore: Mohammed Siraj
The young fast bowler has played 3 matches for RCB in IPL 2018 and hasn’t picked even a single wicket. Siraj’s performance so far has been a huge disappointment for the team and fans but they would be hoping that he can lift his game up and make a mark in the second half of the league stage. His economy, after playing 3 matches, is just below 10 runs per over.
Kolkata Knight Riders: Shubman Gill
The young India batter, who was the hero of India’s U19 triumph earlier this year, has not in the best of form in IPL 2018 so far. Gill, who caught many eyeballs after his great show in the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup, has scored just 23 runs in 4 matches.
Rajasthan Royals: Ben Stokes
The big English all-rounder scored 45 runs in one match but other than that his performance, with both bat and ball, has been much below the expectations from him. Stokes was one of the costliest players in the auction and Royals’ fans would be hoping for a better show from him in the second half of the league stage.
