Pat Cummins is the number 1 Test bowler in the world as per the latest ICC Test rankings. Cummins is an extremely talented, skillful and hardworking cricketer and many believe he is, presently, at the top of his game. Cummins is a tall and strong fast bowler who gives his best every time he strides towards the popping crease.

His ability to swing the ball both ways at pace in kind of pitch makes him a very difficult bowler to face and his numbers in the last couple of years prove what he is capable of.

However, these days, Pat Cummins is in news for his extraordinary and extravagant bid at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 auction. The Australian fast bowler was sold for INR 15.5 crore to Kolkata Knight Riders after one of the most aggressive rounds of bidding in IPL history.

Now, Cummins has become the highest-paid overseas cricketer in IPL history and there is a lot of excitement among cricket fans across the world to see him play in IPL 2020.

Ahead of the boxing day Test match, Pat Cummins addressed the media and there he was also asked about becoming the highest-paid overseas cricketer and how he plans to spend that much money, to which Cummins gave a hilarious reply. Here’s what he said:

“I don’t know [what to do with the money]. My girlfriend… the first thing she said was ‘we can buy the dog a couple more toys now’. She has got her priorities sorted. I will try my best not to change. Lucky, I have got good people around me. The boys in the team are great but also my family and friends. I still play cricket because I love it. I am really fortunate and grateful for everything that has happened,” Pat Cummins told the media in the pre-match conference ahead of the Boxing Day Test.
