IPL 2020, RR Vs CSK: One underrated player from each team who can change the game

RR Vs CSK: Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have produced some thrilling encounters over the years and some of those performances have been inspired by some really underrated cricketers. That might be the case again as these two teams go head to head in game 4 of the ongoing IPL 2020 in UAE.
RR and CSK have got a lot of underrated crafty players who are not really extremely flamboyant, but they do a very effective job and they are very much capable of changing the game as well on their day. Let’s talk about one underrated player each from RR and CSK who can change the game on Tuesday.
RR (Shreyas Gopal)
IPL 2020, RR Vs CSK: One underrated player from each team who can change the game
Although Shreyas Gopal got a lot of wickets in the last season of the IPL, he is still not spoken in the same breath as some of the other talented leg spinners in India. But, Gopal is second to none in terms of the skill that he possesses.
Gopal is one such leg spinner who is equally efficient both with his googly and the stock delivery. He is not one of those leggies who are quick through the air and mostly bowl the googlies. He is also decently quick through the air, but at the same time, he also loops the ball enough to make the batsman feel that he can get down the pitch.
Apart from being very good with his speeds and his ability to spin the ball both ways equally efficiently, Gopal is really accurate with his lengths as well. Leg spinners often have this tendency to drag one down every over, but Gopal is really tight in terms of offering any freebies to the batsman.
The 27-year old leg-spinner can prove to be a trump-card for RR against CSK.
CSK (Lungi Ngidi)
IPL 2020, RR Vs CSK: One underrated player from each team who can change the game
Lungi Ngidi has played a decent amount of cricket at the international level, but he is still not regarded as one of the best T20 bowlers in the world and is massively underrated for the caliber that he has with the ball.
Generally in conditions that are on offer in UAE, people mostly believe the fast bowlers don’t have that much of a role to play, but that’s far from truth. First of all, these are not typical UAE pitches because a lot of grass has been left on the surfaces to help them bind together for the entire duration of the tournament.
And, secondly even if the pitches get sluggish, Lungi will always have a role to play because of the fact that he bangs the length and bowls a heavy ball and if the batsman is not good enough to pick the length early and gets himself in the right position, slogging won’t work against Lungi.
Lungi is a really vital cog in the bowling line-up of CSK and the skipper MS Dhoni will expect another meaningful performance from him in the second game against RR which he is very much capable of delivering. Lungi was actually the game changer for CSK in the first game against MI as well.
