Well, a coach is always on cloud 9 when his student performs well in a crucial game. This is exactly what happened during the game between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai when fast bowler Umran Malik cleaned up opposition captain Shreyas Iyer with a cracking yorker.
The incident took place during the final delivery of the 10th over when Shreyas made room to play the shot through the offside. Umran, who has bowled the fastest ball in IPL 2022 so far, studied the movements of Iyer and bowled a lethal yorker that went directly into the stumps like a tracer bullet.
Shreyas Iyer, who had hardly sighted the ball, was left stunned by what had happened. As soon as Umran bowled him, the SRH pace bowling coach celebrated the wicket in a crazy way by giving a High 5 to spin bowling coach Muttiah Muralitharan.
