IPL 2022: Hardik Pandya Crossed The Line In Anger And Fans Aren’t Happy

Gujarat Titans suffered their first defeat of the ongoing 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League, with Kane Williamson-led Sunrisers Hyderabad securing their second win of the season. After winning three back-to-back games, it was for the first time that the Hardik Pandya-led side lost an IPL game and the disappointment was clearly reflected on the skipper’s face.

Well, during the game last night, Hardik Pandya was seen losing his cool a number of times. He was even seen yelling at senior Indian player Mohammed Shami and the same hasn’t gone well with the fans.

The incident took place during the 13th over of the innings, GT captain Pandya brought himself back for his second spell. SRH captain Kane Williamson smashed him hard for back-to-back sixes off the second and third of the same over. Gujarat then got an opportunity to dismiss Rahul Tripathi off the last ball of the over when the batter tried an uppercut which flew towards the deep third man.

Mohammed Shami was standing in the position and he could have completed the catch had he run forward. It was a misfield as Shami stayed where he was and even moved back a couple of steps to collect the ball. Following this, Hardik Pandya was visibly disappointed and the replays showed him yelling at Shami.

The video of the same has been going viral on the internet. Here, watch the video:
